Post On Facebook The layout for Llantysilio Mine and Light Railway consists of a narrow gauge main line running from Saint Mary's Station at Llantysilio Junction under Britannia Bridge stopping at Llantysilio Mine Station, then carrying on along the Swellies stopping at Yr Station Bragdy, Church Island Station and then on under Thomas Telford's Bridge to Porthaethwy Station. The mine layout is round single track, again narrow gauge with siding leading to a raised track for tipping of "hoppers" a second sidings leads to the engine sheds off a "turntable" and on to the Mine entrance where part of the oval track at the Mine is covered by a hillside with a tunnel and where the entrance to the mine is located.
