Bingo Number Around The World
At first glance you will notice that the balls have either a "B", "I", "N", "G" or "O" placed above each ball number, as they are called out the player looks under the heading of "B" or lets say "N" and then down that line below it, very much like the coloured cards of the Prize Bingo. This style of playing became popular in America but about the same time, or just after, it became popular in New Zeeland and Australia, although in Australia the bingo slang or bingo lingo describing each number also became the common way to call out the numbers.
Because of the Internet I feel the American way of calling "B4" "G56" "O72" and so on has spread throughout the world and for me is a bit boring. You might still hear the traditional calling with slang or bingo lingo at the United Kingdoms seaside or in some parts of the Commonwealth perhaps mainly Australia.
Again I say, "We must fully understand Bingo was not invented in America specifically Bingo was invented by Italians living in the United Kingdom, the formation in America came through the British migrants living in Canada were it was played much before the business ventures and attempts to commercialise it by both Hugh J. Ward and Erwin S. Lowe in there attempts to gain it as their own property".
