Welcome to the Llantysilio Light Railway (LLR) which was born of the Llantysilio Mining Company of Anglesey back in the old days and the name in welsh is Rheilffordd Ysgafn Llandysilio. The light railway was first created to help with the mining of not only tin and copper but also gold, yes there is gold in them there hills.

Although the gold, copper and tin mine of Llantysilio is still being mined the railway today is a tourist attraction and carries passengers instead of ore. Come with us on this imaginary trip into the world of 'O' gauge narrow gauge railways, welcome to the Llantysilio Light Railway.
